A New Year Brings a Collab

Here's to another new year!! Happy 2026!
Plans are to finish the collaboration project with Jessie Chandler. Tentative/working title: Million Dollar Hoodlums. This project has been in the works for over four years now. We've had a few setbacks in our personal lives that have pushed off the writing, but we've been hard at it for almost six months now. As of this date (1/10/2026) we are down to the final seven scenes or more likely chapters. Below is a photo of my laptop screen. The end is nigh! Once we get through the first draft we'll go through and clean up/edit and then send it off to our writing group for a read-through. Next steps will be to hire an editor.
After we've sent MDH to an editor I'll move on to my next project— book four of the MC McCall series. I've already acquired a pile of research to read and I need to do a drive up to a small town near St. Cloud for some in-person research. After those tasks are complete I'll commence writing.
I anticipate the writing of book four will overlap with the editing/querying of Million Dollar Hoodlums so it's going to be a busy year. Looking forward to being productive.
