Biographical Information

I hail from Minneapolis, Minnesota. I'm recently retired from the U.S. Postal Service after more than thirty-seven years of service. I've chosen postal-related storylines and characters in most of my writing in honor of this venerable organization that has been such a huge part of my life.

Reading and writing are my lifelong 'addictions.'

My first short story, "Stamped Unnatural," was published in May 2017 as part of the anthology titled,
Time's Rainbow: Writing Ourselves Back into American History, edited by Lori L. Lake and Christopher Hawthorne Moss.

A second short story, "Ruby Red Heist," was selected to appear in an anthology titled,
Dark Side of the Loon: Where History Meets Mystery, which was published in May 2018. Twin Cities Chapter of Sisters in Crime published the anthology.

I'm thankful for the support of my family and friends on this crazy writing journey. My goal is to entertain readers. If you read my work and wish to send me feedback please visit the Contact tab of this web site. Constructive criticism is welcome, but don't just tell me you don't like something—share with my why you don't like it and how I might make improvements!

Extracurricular Activities

In addition to writing, I also contract out editing and proofreading services. Currently, I do primary and secondary edits as well as proofreading for a couple of different publishers.

If you, or anyone you know, need editing or proofreading done feel free to contact me via the Contact tab of this web site.
